CHARACTERISTICS

Very graceful and light tillansia for compositions full of finesse.

This variety can be grown well provided it is well aerated.

 

SIZE

Size S : about 3 - 5 cm.
Size M : about 5 - 7 cm.
Size L : about 7 - 8 cm.
Size XL : about 8 - 10 cm.

 

FLOWERS

Bract is very long and red.
The flowers are very intense purple.

 

ORIGINES

Tillandsia Argentea grows mainly in Cuba and Jamaica.

HABITAT

It hangs on tree branches between 400 and 2400 m altitude.

 

CULTIVATION METHOD

In suspension, simply place or fix it in a sunny or very bright place.
If you have the opportunity, she will appreciate being kicked out in the spring.

In Mediterranean regions, it can be grown outside all year round.
